This going to be the new normal. It goes back to during Trump’s campaign when supporters would say “He doesn’t really mean what he said.” and the media/faux-conservatives/Never Trumpers wouldn’t take it seriously. They created the environment where he can say anything while he has a huge chunk of the population that will follow his every word and blame those who he directs them to.

These deplorables will commit crimes, say the president made them do it or told them it was okay, people will blame Trump and lose the focus on criminals who espouse “conservative values” like “personal responsibility”, “tough on crime”, and “all lives matter” while continuing to make poor decisions that affect, harm or even kill others. And in this justice system, they will be seen as misguided, gullible, and garner sympathy they do not deserve.

That’s how someone who sends bombs in the mail to public figures only gets 20 years in prison, while you have young black men growing old for using a drug flooded into our communities to funnel money to destabilize regions where they don’t want people to escape from by the very same government that proclaims justice for all.

Trump, meeting with victims and medical staff in El Paso yesterday, referred to "crazy Beto"—who is from El Paso—and bragged about his crowd sizes at his rally in the city in February. "You had this crazy Beto. Beto had like 400 people in a parking lot."

I know we all know that Trump doesn't know how to run the country and isn't running it at all. But doesn't it feel like more than ever that this man doesn't even realize he's the president at all anymore and isn't doing anything at all. :dead:

Just traveling around taking photos and fighting on Twitter. I mean he's always done this but just seems different now.

Don't forget that Trump also said he would pay the legal fees for supporters at his rallies that assaulted protesters.

NEW: They may not be calling it impeachment inquiry, but what House Judiciary is doing is just that. Recent statements and court filings point to an escalation, which could lead to articles of impeachment this year. Nadler on board. In the fall, House Judiciary plans to hold a set of hearings with key witnesses whose testimony would be part of the committee's impeachment deliberations, according to multiple sources. The committee authorized a dozen subpoenas, including to Lewandowski, who could be on list
