I don’t think he directly cares about the Palestinians.

I would bet he’s going for the same kind of deal he was going for Ukraine. The Gulf states will take on the burden of the defanging the Palestinians on whatever amount of land Trump thinks they deserve and Israel gets its beach front extended property.
