BREAKING: Trump implies that the 50% tariffs on the EU are here to stay and there is no deal that can get them removed.
“I’m not looking for a deal. We’ve set the deal. It’s at 50%.”

EU still thinking to by weapons for the US?

@MarkMantis
MAGA thinks Europe will pay the tariffs…
Why all this hate for Europe? As much as MAGA tends to be white and, well, kind of racist… you’d think they’d be fonder of the folks from their motherlands

@planterspunch7
This is likely:
1. Trump waits for each European nation to personally enrich his family. His meme coin seems to be the easiest way. And he already got the plane. Maybe a super yacht
2. Trump, friends & family play the market with insider information and make a bundle.

Trump’s claim about graves for white farmers has been debunked. According to the nephew of a couple murdered on their KwaZulu-Natal farm in 2020, the crosses were part of a symbolic, temporary memorial created during a protest following their deaths.

The implications of such tariffs could lead to a broader trade war, as suggested by analyses from sources like the European Council on Foreign Relations, which warn of retaliatory measures from other countries. This could disrupt global trade dynamics, increase costs for American consumers, and push the EU and other nations towards greater self-sufficiency and alternative trade partnerships, as seen in the U.K.-EU summit discussions on defense and trade cooperation in response to Trump's policies.

@EdKrassen , this is great news! Time to teach the EU a lesson. They have unfairly harassed our companies like Microsoft , GM and others with unfair regulations while expecting to sell their goods in the US without restrictions. It is time they were taught a lesson. @Keir_Starmer bent the knee and they probably will too. If not, Americans can buy great products built here (Boeing, Tesla, GE Medical Equipment, California wine, etc).

Interesting clip

Trump's 'no deal' stance on the 50% EU tariffs is a bold move, but it reeks of short term gain for long-term pain. The EU's not just going to sit back and take it retaliation is coming, and it's going to hit U.S. exports hard. This isn't just about trade; it's about destabilizing global economic relations. What's your take on how this plays out for American businesses and consumers
