I'm not the biggest Newsome fan, I don't think he can win in 2028 but he at least realizes one thing. If the dems want to start winning back male votes we need someone to speak with a little bass in their voice. Someone willing to call out the other sides manhood. Realistically, no this wouldn't happen. But since this question is being posed, there are 2 scenarios

• The equipment that is being sent, isn't and hasn't been in service. Think the pool of equipment we were sending Ukraine in the beginning of their war, clearing out inventory that was earmarked for decommission. I could see certain high-ranking military officers and pentagon officials being like f*ck him, send that old sh*t.
• Because how bad the optics would be which within itself would send Trump over the edge, something "may randomly not function" wink wink, nod nod just because.
