If we make it out of Trump 2.0, DC needs to demand statehood. DC has a larger population than Vermont and Wyoming and nearly as maybe as Alaska. Bonus points to using no taxation without representation, and bringing up arguments about big Government trampling over the rights of the people and watching the party of small government argue against it.

Also, there is nothing in the fukking constitution that forbids it, even though they will argue all day against that. Keep the federal district federal and make the rest of the area a state, or just give those areas back to Maryland and Virginia.
