In a world where tariffs replace the revenue from income taxes.....who does this help? It doesn't change anything but make prices higher. Yes we might have "more" to spend but we'll be using to eat the cost of tariffs on our goods.

Not only that, he'd have to apply tariffs to most of our business partners. If they were petty, they'd start a trade war with us. Everyone loses, except China. And this not a typical "over demand, for settle for what you really want strategy"..... the rest of the world can afford to circumvent the USA because China exists. World leaders publicly front like they don't fukk with China because the USA doesn't. Remove the US and China steps in....that's what they been doing these last 30 years...positioning themselves as the alternative.

It is already broke. Trump literally thinks that the government could just print more money or borrow more money, but if there are no income taxes then he would have to propose a different vehicle for paying down the national debt. We are actually looking at a major recession if any of this dumb shyt happens, because State and local funding would also be affected.
