I know that I said I won’t be involved in all this and I won’t but I think it’s time we come to terms with the fact that Americans have largely been stupid throughout history and self interested to their own detriment. Politics is literally trying to sway stupid people to do what you want for ethical reasons. Every debate in here is about how best to teach stupid people. Once you all accept that you’ll realize that you agree on that basic premise and every debate is about the most effective way to get stupid people to do the right thing or what is best for everyone.

Democrats are not currently ineffective at speaking to stupid people. So whenever you get frustrated about policy, remember that people are stupid and you didn’t dumb down the explanation enough.

Democrats talk like lawyers and politicians, voters don't want that. Everyone trying their best to be this obama level orator when the country has moved on from that style of politics

Don't know how I feel about this. Seems like this will only normalize him. Anything less than calling him out publicly for his support for Nazi propaganda channels on X, doing a Nazi salute, and illegally shutting down agenies and government contracts is a disservice. I like Jon Stewart but I don't think he's up to task for it. This isn't a laughing matter. Lives are at stake and this isn't the appropriate forum for questioning Musk. His actions have already destroyed people's livelihoods.
