I'm not making any personal attacks on you for the record either. I will just say this type thinking is dangerous. You can read legit information on what a recession is and have history to compare it to, 2008 for an example. We all also can read information on tariffs, what they actually do and when they're used in the wrong way the damage they can do, the 1920s comes to mind. Project 2025 was a 900 page document that lists alot of the goals that group wanted including tanking the economy, etc.


I guess what I am saying is, there's a difference when someone takes a single data point and tries to twist and bend it to their agenda. This website is full of accounts doing just that. But these alarms you are hearing about what this current administration is doing to damage America and the world isn't propaganda, isn't a both sides issue, isn't because social media has become toxic and used as a weapon. If something walks like a duck, and talks like a duck it ain't a mongoose right?

I am not talking about all the moves, or all the changes. I am just talking about the Recession fears, as far as what the administration has done. People beat this same shyt into the ground in 2022 and 2023, and a Recession never came. I think it's the same thing here. I think the tariffs and the pull back and the back and firth in the headlines is causing a lot of choppiness. If people were saying the economy was great under Biden, just 6 months back, the fundamentals should still be strong.

I would be interested to see what the experts were saying in 2008. I wouldn't know, I wasn't even following those years. I think the whole idea of sober minded experts has changed. But, that's a different subject. I am not supporting tarriffs, nor am I saying some of the moves aren't causing what looks like market turmoil. The stock market is another thing. If it goes WAY up in two weeks, is that good? Is that evidence of his policies working? Already today the DOW is out of the headlines.
