My problem is Democrats let the Republicans frame the debate and then tried to out cruel the Republicans.

Immigrants in general and undocumented immigrants in particular are a critical part of the economy. They deserve better than to be demonized by both parties. That would have been a good starting point for debate.

Dems couldn’t even do that.

They’re only integral to our system because they’re being exploited by businesses.

American citizens no matter their political affiliation largely want immigration laws enforced.

I don’t see how undocumented, un licensed, un vaccinated, un insured people are beneficial to society.

They deserve better? They deserve the right to apply for citizenship.

I agree. Most progressives aren't gonna hold their ground. They would still vote dem over trump. Dems just didn't get out in front of any of the major issues that republicans went full ham on, namely the border and inflation. And it fukked them, which fukked us.
