Are you applauding the fact that Trump is trying to turn the DOJ in to just another arm of the White House, which is basically a revocation of American tradition and democratic principles? You really want the DOJ prosecuting people based on the whims of the President rather than based on prosecutorial discretion?

This is just another example of Trump trying to consolidate al the powers of the Federal government in to his own hands. We can say Merrick Garland wasn't the AG to meet this moment in time without celebrating what Trump is trying to turn the US Government in to.
