I didnt see anyone celebrating people's deaths. The local officials are throwing darts at the NSW.

The only way that will happen is when they are more afraid of their constituents than him. Crashing polls is the first step for anything like that to have a chance at becoming a reality. At minimum it is a net positive for anti-fascism so I don’t fully understand the reluctance to appreciate that.

Speaking of floods, here in Colorado our most notorious flood was the Big Thompson Flood of 1976. Happened before I was born (but well after @Art Barr ) but I remember growing up always hearing about it, mainly from my dad, especially when we would take rides into the mountains. shyt would scare the hell out of me. Imagine a wall of water coming down the canyon while you were enjoying a camping trip. Nowhere to hide. Everytime it rained while in the mountains that flood always haunted me as a kid. Flash floods are terrifying.

Those poor kids in Texas, I feel for them.

Yeah, tornados are scary too. We haven't had one in the metro area in decades. But I remember seeing one back when I was like only 8. Standing on the fence seeing the funnel clouds over the south part of the city. Sky was black af. shyt was surreal.
