So instead of proving I’m wrong that she couldn’t have made the sale more costly and time consuming where both parties end up saying fukk it, you result to ad- hominem attacks.

Fall back, I know we’re off the leftie twitter talking point zeitgeist so you have to result to short circuiting with delirium
This is so dishonest. There was absolutely nothing the FTC could have done to block or make the sale of Twitter more costly. You're just emotionally committed to hating Lina Khan, so you're throwing every random accusation at the wall -- even ones that make zero sense -- to justify that hate.

The FTC could have sued the sale on various frivolous grounds that would have extended the process and make it more costly by holding it up in the courts.

Elon was having second thoughts about buying twitter in the first place, so pressure from the FTC could have given him an out.

I don’t hate Lina Khan as a person but I think the way she did her job helped Trump get back into power indirectly so yes I do hate the unearned praise

Considering how so many Americans still credit Trump for COVID stimulus relief checks….

It is incompetent, dangerous, & pathetic that every time SNAP is brought up or mentioned that it is not CLEARLY tied & attributed to Trump’s admin discretion.

To not do so, is to be part of a deliberate disinformation campaign and of your own party’s future credibility demise.

The picture surrounding SNAP should be painted clearly every single time and that clip of Trump threatening to withhold it/weaponize be spread everywhere. AND with a side info graphic depicting that previous to the total halt of SNAP the Republican backed OBBB cut to SNAP.

This is exactly what I mean by dishonest. You're openly admitting that what you wanted was for her to abuse her authority by filing a knowingly frivolous lawsuit. All this would have done is get laughed out of court, and give Musk a political weapon he could have used to cry about "government interference" while still buying Twitter anyway.

The idea that this would've somehow stopped Musk, prevented MAGA, or changed any election outcomes is pure fantasy. This is nothing more than an unrealistic expectation you spun up to hold against her. And if you're blaming her for Trump winning, it's because you're acting in bad-faith, not because of any reasonable analysis. Complaining that she didn't break the law to indulge a political fantasy is straight trolling.

I disagree. There are grounds a lawsuit could have been brought forth which could have been argued better than I, I say frivolous because the FTC would lose eventually but not without making it costly for twitter and Elon.

The FTC could have argued that if Elon owned twitter it would have created an unfair advantage for Tesla in the EV and automobile market.

Just because you disagree doesn’t mean I’m being bad faith. It credible conjecture that Silicon Valley flipped to Trump due to how Lina Khan was running the FTC.

I’m a pragmatic utilitarian. I don’t give a fukk if Lina’s heart was in the right place, the outcome led to democrats losing powerful allies to Trump.
