I agree with that but some people are going to prison or at least house arrest if we get a Dem in office next time. Especially if it’s a Gavin Newsome type. Some ppl might just completely leave the country. This next year will tell a lot. If they lose the House as bad as they could Rethugs will start to either retire more or just completely distance from him.

From the Mueller Comey investigations to Jan 6th to now, the precedent has been for Democrats to back down and allow treasonous undercurrents to develop. The Tea Party metastasized to MAGA. No one has the courage to cut it out.

Supposedly Bacon is threatening to retire early over this, which will force a special election and almost certainly give a seat to Democrats.
Counter to this is the energy has shifted and people basically demand you be a “fighter” or you won’t win political office. They’ll have public approval to go after these people, especially if the admin continues to terrorize people for the next three years.
They had public approval after January 6th, not so?
They had approval then, now it’s expectation or no political office. I’m sure this will be touched on in the 2028 primaries and an insufficient answer will be appropriately scrutinized and a non starter.
