What's with this "blame the voters" rhetoric? Elections have consequences, so avoiding the more favorable consequences for unfavorable consequences is very much on the voter(s).
This is where I fundamentally disagree. We’ve run three status‑quo candidates and barely eked out a win with one of them. With income inequality and the debt exploding since 1980, it’s not surprising that the voting electorate isn’t convinced by politicians who want to govern like it’s 1995. I don’t believe any of the three we’ve run in the past decade are quality politicians, so it’s not surprising Trump has won over low information voters who want change.

One of the few bright spots of this is the masks have been removed and we can stop the charade of pretending like we have the same interests as some of our “allies”

Clearly some of us are more interested in the well being and basic voting rights (especially of black people) than others.

The only interest you have is defending the Denocratic establishment no matter what they do. Fail to pass voting rights protections? No problem. Fail to hold insurrectionist and child rapist accountable? Cool. slaughter 50 thousand innocent kids? All good.

You are an automaton bereft of any kind of original thought.

I was reading about what went on in Tennessee yesterday. Republican lawmakers gutted the sole black district in the state. Black people have no representation now. I use to live there so it caught my interest. The response from the Republican lawmakers: “We are a conservative state” :beli: That shyt angered me to my core. Then I read Louisiana and Alabama are doing the same soon and South Carolina is considering it. And the Democrats attempt to fight back in Virginia was struck down in their state Supreme Court but it was all good to do it in Republican states. These muthafukkas are not playing fair and taking us back to 1930. Then I get on The Coli and this dumbass is still talking about Gaza. I have zero patience for that guy :beli:
Hence why I don’t bother responding to them directly anymore. I think they may not get paid if they don’t get engagement so that’s why they keep prodding. If by chance they are doing this all for free, that’s incredibly shameful.

If they are doing it for free then whatever state they live in needs to be on the alert. Unless they are like what their dear leader said

"It could be Russia, but it could also be China, it could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds"

I’m willing to say he’s being paid by the DNC at this point; or maybe something even more nefarious. There’s no way a person with normal consequences could watch the party lose multiple elections due to the same theme and still keep advocating for the same shyt while blaming the voters for not wanting the same shyt. Maybe he's a masochist or some shyt, his behavior is not normal lol.

Let’s talk about the voting rights act and see how we got here.

1. The Democratic Party decided that 2016 was Hilary’s coronation despite having the second highest unfavorable numbers in history. Losing the previous primary to a black guy with a Muslim name that nobody ever heard of before.

2. The party refused to put pressure on RGB old ass to retire.

3. Biden failed to pass the Voting Rights legislation

4. It never occurred ti them to expand the court to punish the GOP for withholding Garland’s nomination. (And why did they nominate a fukking center right guy in the first place).

But somehow it’s the voters fault the party keeps fukking up time and time again.

In a dark way it’s almost ingenious. You find the most mentally ill amongst us. The most easily susceptible. Engineer their algorithms. Sit back and let them do the work.

Now occasionally they’ll go completely off the handle and say “Assad is a cool guy” or wish a terrorist attack hits US soil, or hope someone is placed in chattel slavery in 2025, or hope black people that don’t vote for your preferred political candidate die. But they are betting that those hiccups will be ignored and their larger daily message will eventually take hold. Decent bet considering the effort you’re putting into it. It’s all about ROI.

If someone said those things out loud and they wasn't dirty old white man holding up a sign on a street corner saying that the end is near, then I feel like that person immediate family would be concerned, very concerned about their mental health. Unless they are white and that is just a normal conversation over Thanksgiving dinner.

Running hillary was the most egregious of them all and the true downfall of the party. Her favorability was at record lows and it showed nothing but hubris that the parties leadership only cared about themselves . Voters had already rejected her before , it was a true coronation like you said.

Hubris and disdain for voters cost us three SC seats.

I’m with her. :hhh:

Not to mention they wanted to protect the norm by stomping down voices that pushed for DC statehood and packing the courts :francis:. But hey let's blame the voters, instead of blaming our party that refuses to utilize its powered when they're in office.

Letting Reagan and bush skate on treason and genocide. Letting bush 43 steal the election. Letting him and Cheney skate on everything.

President Trump complained that the historic Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which dates to the 1870s, is “ugly,” and he is pushing to have its granite exterior painted white so it better matches the White House next door. On Tuesday, the federal panel considering the proposal considered the overwhelmingly negative feedback that poured in during a public comment period.

man's priorities are just :wow:

it's a beautiful building as it stands

Enough with the “it’s not the voter’s fault” nonsense. With your logic, Germany should’ve done a better job serving its citizens so they didn’t vote in Hitler. At some point, it’s the voter’s fault :camby: Your posting on here is very transparent that you’re more angry about Gaza and about how ineffectual you think the Democrats are than you should be about how Republicans are stripping us of our rights. Your only logical play should have been to get Democrats in office by any means and then push them further left to meet your progressive demands. You make zero sense to me. You’re also avoiding acknowledging that Republicans blocked the Voting Rights Bill in 2021 which is more disengenous posting. You write as if Biden did nothing.
