This is one of the most cliche lists full of very popular "real hip hop" rappers, aside from real young chicks, what women don't know these artists? So knowing some of the biggest selling/most highly regarded artists from the 90's makes their opinion valid when if they knew/spoke on Kendrick/drake/cole/others it wouldn't be valid because those guys are too current?

i listen to those three guys too, they are the future. but i'm saying it's gonna be hard for them to be as successful as the guys i've mentioned.

Get it right...I interpret "knowing" to mean familiarized with their albums and not just the stuff on the radio.

Of course many women would have heard of those acts, but how many have actually heard the albums?

So someone should listen or give a fukk about this music because you like it and hold it in high regard?

Short answer: Yes.

How can you be a fan of trumpeters and not appreciate/know/enjoy/respect Louis Armstrong?

That speaks more to the company you keep than a woman's opinion. I know lots of women who know their shyt and can have just as robust debates on the artform.

A lot, as I said, you picked some of the most popular artists, they didn't sell that without female buyers

why do you think dissecting and understanding music is senseless?
No, I think debating whether or not something is classic is silly.

There are no set rules its just people exercising their biases. Everyone hears music differently.

And the Idea that people listen to artist and having a running ranking in their mind of how they place them is just stupid.
