A very interesting and insightful thread. I see alot of valid points that I do agree with.
Also, I rather accept her for what she is than to create this illusion that she is classy because of how she dresses.

Now, with the second question, I'll hold off on that because I want to make sure it comes out the way I want it to. But honestly, I think the issue is that whenever people look back to the 80s or 90s they look at those time periods with either interest or nostalgia. For example, I follow this page on IG called Stuckinthe90s where they mostly post stuff like music, pictures, and stuff like that from the time period. One of the misses who runs the page is a 18 year old young buck and she was sitting there talking about how the 90s was great and had great music, movies, fashion. Which, I do agree with but then she started saying how there aren't that many good artists out (For her) that she fukks with in this time which let me know she is too caught up in the 90s to not understand that there are good artists out there but again, she's stuck in the 90s vortex. When looking back at those times depending on how you seen it (movie, music, video footage) you get that feeling that life was just simplier and better....But people forget about all the shyt that happened in those eras 80's had to deal with Reagan, drugs, and all that shyt. 90s had to deal gangs (80s did too but it got worse), police brutality, and so on so forth.

I feel like I went off topic. My bad :russ:

1. I like my women bad and boujee :manny:

2. No you cannot. Some of the most gorgeous women I know don't have much sex because they know where they are in looks and set their standards to match that.

I'd add my discourse but the initial post as well as everyone else in here is hitting everything on the head.

To answer the second question, no not really. There have been many times when I assumed that a person was this when they really weren't at all. I still remember back in 2015 when I was taking classes in College I saw one of the people who was going to be in my class and how she dressed well...I thought she was a ratchet hoe. But it turned out she really wasn't and that she was a cool ass person who was in a 5 year relationship. After that I had to start stopping myself from assuming what kind of person they are for how they look or dress.

Anyone in their 20s talking about how women were better in the 90s or 80s are just projecting the hopelessness for their own love life into some kind of romanticized idea they got from watching old movies. Its faux nostalgia.

Also, its just funny. Men want to shame women for being sexually expressive but turn around and cheat on their wives, spend all their money, and chase these types of women that exude that type of sexuality.

Another is Alicia Keys (who is another talented woman) but who didn't face much ridicule for stealing someone else's man because of what she represents (gimmick).
Dont think I didnt see this :aicmon:

So are you saying that the majority of women ain't and have never been shyt?

I don't know why people say women were much different back then though. Because this generation of women learned from the previous, and that learned from the previous and so on.

I do think media programming and influence definitely had a part in it. And women in past generations couldn't necessarily sleep with random men like they can nowadays.

In 2017 being a prostitute/escort is more glamorized and accepted. There are no shortage of men who simp after escorts, and many women want that life. You can also meet people over the internet or apps like Tinder whom you probably would never have met if this was a couple decades ago where such technology didn't exist.

Women can also move to different places easier now. So they can move to another city where no one knows them and re-invent themselves like people do in college.

There definitely will be consequences for these things though.
