The difference now is its been put on a pedestal, it use to be somewhat of discouraged or shameful outside of a handful of women that where just sex symbols.
There's always been ratchets and whores
But that was something that usually wasn't encouraged by said women or men and it was just how they where.
Within the last 20 years having loose or no morality is not only no longer really shamed, its encouraged and its taken in by younger youths and taught to them as being the right thing to do.
Its not so much of an illusion as things are worst now, you can't really have super sexualized media and then think things are the same across the board like they where when the media wasn't sexualized half as much.
Same thing goes for drug abuse, its always been there but more and more people abuse drugs legally and in a different ways so it presents differently.
In another 20-30 years we really start to see the fall out of all this ( if the world last that long) if you ask me.

I never said whoredom was new. It's been around for a long time. However, the current attitude towards whoredom is different. It has existed in societies before, but those societies didn't last too long afterwards.
Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn may have been promiscuous but it was more along the lines of you 'hearing' about them being promiscuous. Their actual promiscuity wasn't celebrated and you didn't constantly see them engaging in hoish activities on television for the world to see like you do now. You didn't have nearly as many simps telling women it was ok for them to be strippers and hoes and you didn't have softcore porn moonlighting as music videos like you do now.

I've honestly never heard the argument that it was different for women in the past. Just that the standard was different. I mean the progressive era was about 100 years ago and everyone says prostitution was the oldest profession in the world so I don't even know how you came to the conclusion that people did. Unless you can quote posts. The only thing I've heard is to get a woman not in western society.
The problem is that people view women in a highly unrealistic light which probably stems from years of religious indoctrination or severe lack of understanding of biology. Women are genetically hardwired to seek attention and recognition from men in order to increase chances of courtship to attract a mate. For the female Homo Sapien species the method of captivating a member of the opposite sex is through provocative and oversexualized behavior and actions, while the males attract female mates through status and rank. Women attract partners through appearance (a subconscious trigger for procreation) which is why women place such a high emphasis on making themselves and their presence erotic. Women have been seductive since the dawn of humanity. Even during conservative eras there were prostitutes and adultery. Far too many people have been duped into thinking that women are naturally embedded with virtues and manners when in actuality it is the complete opposite.
Women who hold themselves with self-respect and dignity are taught to do so either by themselves or from others. Women, along with men, do not instinctively have morals. A woman's biology simply tells her to sensualize her behavior to attract a partner to procreate with. Any purity that a woman has beyond that derives from her consciously choosing to place her mind over her carnal nature.

I don't buy the whole biology argument in regards to sexual behaviour some women are just plain insecure attention whores.they'd shut u down after you approach while dressing like sluts wats biological bout that?that's some low self esteem shyt amber and all these Insta thots either going for cash or stripping for attention.
