I think this would be good fit for Geno especially if Rex can keep the defense tight which he most likely will. A good defense is QB's best friend at the end of the day especially a young one, look what they did with Sanchez wack ass when he was just playing OK, Jets didn't fall off until he started stinking the joint up.
