First thing u gotta know is the blade is basically covered. There is a guard on the blade so it never actually touches ur skin. It doesnt cut as low as regular razors, which cut at the skin level. It cuts just above it. This prevents the ingrown hairs and cuts. Its made for black men to use shaving. Whoever came up with the idea is a genius.
