The bay being taken over by silicon valley tech nerds and big cash

San Francisco went from 14% to 6% today with about 40% of blacks in jail...

Then u have rent from $3000 to$10000 a month in a lot of areas

Now it's resching over to Oakland... u have this thing called ellis act where landlords and owners can evict u without cause and they doing that shyt when u got tech heads giving u more money u ever probably going to see

Actualy the Ellis act allows them to evict under the conditions they go out of business. Meaning, everyone has to get out, which im sure is no problem if everyone is black.

My cousin move to san quentin... it's only like 50 homes but he said majority of bay area folks are scared to move there cause u next to the prison, but he said it's great...

Yeah, everybody moved out to areas like Stockton and whatnot but then couldn't manage the high mortgages because of the way the sub prime contacts were done and ended up getting foreclosed and ruining people's credit. This really weakened us back in the early 2000s and led the way for the initial wave of white settlers to swoop in and start grabbing houses out here. I knew shyt was gonna start getting bad even before all this when my friend's grandparents up the street passed and my friend's parents sold the house to some white people instead of moving in or renting it out.

This gentrification shyt is no fukking joke and I think a lot of people really don't have a grasp on how terrible it truly is yet. I inherited the house i'm in from my mom who passed away and I don't intend on letting it go no matter how bad it gets here. She was a part of the block association and I took her spot after she died and I'm very active in it. No one is going to move here and start treating me like a fukking outsider in my own neighborhood.

West Oakland is insane now. It's still predominately black, but it's a shell of what it used to be at this point. It's spreading slowly out to the deep parts of the east now too even.

black folk really don't know how bad things will be, once we're pushed out of the cities.

It will either be abandoned suburbs or rural areas
but both will have little to no resources
and at that point.. it will probably be a wrap for us

Exactly. The South is maybe the last chance for blacks to create an economic base. Hopefully where it started it all is where it will also be rebirthed as well. It's a lost cause anywhere else in my eyes. Take a lesson from Oakland and don't build it up, just to turn around and end up selling it to a pilgrim.
