what country is grilled cheese from? i always thought that was cac cuisine anyway.

But yeah his version was atrocious. certain foods don't need to be fancied up. i know there are more expensive cheeses out than american. but they don't melt the same way usually.
I know there is better bread out there than white wonder bread too, but the texture of wonder bread is perfect for buttering up and toasting on the griddle.

I don’t know exactly what kinda bread and cheese he has there but if you take some good quality bread and cheese and make an extravagant grilled cheese that shyt is good as fukk.

With some homemade tomato soup on the side :ohlawd:

It’s a good way to elevate something you remember eating as a kid to something you can appreciate as an adult.

Gordon is a guy who knows how to bring more talented chefs around him and they get his restaurants to Michelin star standards.

His more infamous falling outs have been with former chefs of his. Marcus Wareing comes to mind.
