Just from looking at Gervin's stats....

When they added the 3pt the next year, he barely shot it and when he did he was bricking. Safe to say a 3pt line wouldn't have made much of a difference, he might have scored even less if he was jacking up them long range bricks.


And shyt....shooting 3's is way more impressive than scoring layups all game. It's the hardest shot in the game, thats why it's 3 points.
