The rest of the Legion of Boom covered for Sherman. Not following the opposing teams #1 WR nearly as often are true elite CB’s do. He’ll say it was scheme, but he was never on the level of some of the other elite CB’s we’ve seen over the last twenty years.

He is just another person who benefitted from folks being distracted by Russell Wilson hate along with Pete, Payton, Daboll, and a few others.
Earl Thomas and Bobby Wagner was the reason that defense worked as well as it did. Sherm was just louder than anyone else.
