Not surprised. The economy is in terrible shape and economic data shows that things will get much worse. We are in a recession, but we are being lied to and told that the economy is doing great.

One other thought, the woman losing her job was equally upset about losing health benefits
It's wild to me more 'pro business' conservatives aren't for public health care. In this country, majority of working age able body adults are dependent on business paying for majority of ur health care.
That is definitely a huge financial burden to companies, competitive disadvantage and I dare guess that without that expense, they might all still have jobs

Voting against their own interests. Health Insurance accounts for roughly 1/3 of my business costs.
Precisely! How great would it be if u could just pay your employees and taxes ( an enormous amount already) and not have pay health insurance and open enroll and look at plan options every year

It is truly crazy as Hell. Then those same people vote against any political candidate that discusses universal healthcare. Americans are very poorly educated, which is how clowns like Trump, W Bush and MAGAT politicians are elected.
