Wrong

this is the problem though... the state legislature is overwhelmingly republican until that changes, GA isn't truly "Blue"

They already gerrymandered the districts badly.

There are too many black people in this state for folks not to link the fukk up and come together and stop this shyt

Where is the agency in the black race in this country??????

Why are we giving these racist clowns any space and easy path in controlling out destiny??????
These crackers aren't easy to stop. I used to be in Georgia politics. They have control at every level. One day you can be chilling and the next day, you get interviewed by Gwinnett PD.

Of course but a lot of people don't know the tricks these evil men do to remain in control. All salute to Stacey, she's been dealing with these fukks head-on for 10 years plus.

Above the fray.
I hate when people make empty affirmations like this. The only way she will be governor is if people in Georgia remain focused and put pressure on these politicians who are attempting to disenfranchise them. If they are successful in changing the voting laws, she will NOT be governor.

This requires work and it's why you can't just be focused on the political process at election time. This takes constant work ALL THE TIME

Folks have to stay focused and committed. We can't just say "its not gonna work" when we're watching these folks do everything they can to make it work.
Hear what you're saying but disagree. When this thread was posted, people went into the default mode of how they think.
I followed Georgia leading up to the runoff, and the outreach the Dem. Party is doing there. Those people are pro active, tireless DOERS and because of that they are monitoring any proposed changes to election rules with plans to adapt, adjust, or counter whatever happens.
The other default mode exhibited here was panic and paralysis. "Oh, no they will suppress the vote" Panic mode with no counter or plan. Basically the YTer effect.

If you scrolled down, you would have seen this post
If they are enforcing existing rules or proposing new measures, the organizers will just adapt to them.

The people of Georgia have spoken. It's a Blue state. Not by coincidence, luck, or chance. But because organizers have been on the ground working to get the vote out, and countering the old tricks.

Technically, the last 3 statewide elections were won by Dem. candidates. Biden, Warnock & Ossoff.

Trending towards the next statewide election(for governor in 2022) being won by a Democrat.

BLUE

None of that has anything to do with the local legislature, and there's been a conservative stranglehold on that since forever. On a national level you got that Democratic change up fairly quickly because of all the people that have moved here. It's going to take time to get the recent transplants up to speed locally, if they ever do.

The only weak point for them right now is that they'll be infighting for a while with the blame game after the Senate losses, but that won't last long.

You're right bro. I missed that last post. My bad :salute:

I thought you were being like those people who say "oh it won't happen" without taking into account the work that goes into not letting it happen.

It was pointed out during the Nov. election that Black populations are clustered mainly in metro urban areas in Red or previously Red states. In terms of statewide elections, Blacks voting Dem. can be enough to shift the result.

The way the state legislative districts are drawn up, the concentrations of Blacks in a handful of places will not have the same effect.

Enough numbers to shift the balance and elect a Dem. governor, though.
