TBH, I think that the first 2-3 bullets in every cops gun should be non-lethal.
That way they can stop the suspect without killing them, but at the same time move on to the next bullets if it is necessary

That's unrealistic.

And anyway, bullets don't kill people...cops kill people. :troll:

RIP to Scout
another case of the police options starting with deadly force and ending with deadly force

it doesnt matter that teh victim was white and considered themselves nonbinary
what matters is these murderous ass cops

The "non-binary" angle is irrelevant. I don't know why you or the article chose to highlight it.

The issue here is the police response. They don't carry Tasers? If not, why not? Force is necessary if you have someone coming at you with a knife, but not necessarily lethal force.

His gender or how he identifies is irrelevant.

I guess the Dailyfail want to tell us that he is mentally ill because he identifies as non-binary.

This is just case #90580348 of cops being cowardly and trigger happy.

The gender thing is irrelevant here.

You all get it.

Also, @Pink_Freud, hold this neg.

No, what you don't get is this is an abuse of power and excessive force issue.
actually in this video alone, and for this this instance, it didn't appear as an abuse of power issue at all.

It appeared to be a mentally ill person that didn't want to listen to the direction of the officer.

I am by no means a big supporter of cops, but this instance doesn't come off as they did something truly egregious. there was plenty of patience, plenty of opportunity, and even when he went directly at the officer, there was only one single shot. It didn't seem like it came from a place of terror, like many of these scared ass brittle cops emptying a full clip in to someone 50 feet away do.

dont forget "superhuman strength"

"Officials from the police department have suggested the knife wielding offender may have been under the influence of PCP, which many veteran officers have stated can give a person super human strength and an ability to continue forward even after multiple direct hits which would otherwise be fatal."
