He wins nothing by having this back and forth with those white people. The L is him being there at all. He even patted himself on the back for speaking German as if that makes him look better to them. 
Dude willingly moved himself deep into enemy territory, in the very heartland of cavebeasts. And then he's trying to paint himself having to justify his existence to white people, in their country , where they clearly don't want him as a victory. The lack of awareness is wild.
Black people make ourselves fools by even going to these places. He should go home. This is no different than Africans volunteering to be abused in the middle east where they know damn well they are not welcome .

The forces that compel people to migrate to Western countries have nothing to do with the local people "wanting them there". Economic realities are often why people uproot to where there are better opportunities. Encountering prejudice and racism comes along with that.
He was fed up that day, and fired back. Him mentioning understanding/speaking German was saying that the bytch ass coward thought he was sneak dissing a newly arrived immigrant. Same way a redneck here would try to mock somebody who they thought didn't understand English.
Germany and other Euro countries have older populations and labor shortages, so working there, this man is probably able to provide for his nuclear family there AND send money back home. Afforded opportunities that do not exist in the country where he is from.
