A LOT of things can go medically wrong when you involve anesthesia. Surgery rooms have to be packed full of people monitoring the patient’s life functions, like the circulatory system and respiratory system).

All of that can affect how much blood/oxygen reach the brain and spinal cord, even if no serious bleeding happens. All it takes is something essential not getting enough oxygen for enough time and the function attached to that essential part is now dead.

This post gave me chills... I hope I never have to get surgery for anything

I'm not sure what happened, but women no longer want to age gracefully. At some point as a woman you're supposed to cover yourself up and "dress your age." But we got women in their 40s and 50s trying to compete with 21 year olds on the internet
