Yeah, this is gonna be the move. The Show has been the best Sports game for a couple years now (at least), and the Devs basically had a full year to work on the PS4 version. shyt is gonna be x100000000000000000. I'm curious to see how that "carrying over your save" feature is gonna work. Does your season/career just migrate over to the new game, and you pick up where you left off? All the player moves, and roster additions carry over? I'm thinking about the OSFM roster that the good folks at OS put together. Does that mean they can, theoretically, release a '14 version, then not have to do it again as the roster should (again, theoretically) carry over with your season/career save? Should be interesting.


I see some folks talking to themselves in here (and scrolling over the "Show Ignored Content" link at the bottom) shows me that Courtney the Clown has made an appearance. No surprise really. I mean, I don't think the Xbox at any point in it's life has had a legit Baseball game. Poor Xbots...can't help but be jealous of all the Baseball goodness Sony gives us year after year. Don't worry guys, you too can with the rest of us, if you can get past your ridiculous bias that is.

The Save from one iteration to the next will Began with MLB 14 Next Gen. I'm waiting to see what carries over myself before I get excited.

There are a lot of unanswered questions at this point. I believe the sports writer from kotaku mentioned that they have been R&Ding this feature for the last 3 years.

I know they did, that is when they created the xbox sports network on the original xbox. Started with NFL Fever, followed by NBA Inside Drive and baseball was next. But, they blew up those studios because those games didn't sell well. MS doesn't have the stomach to grow a franchise especially a sports franchise were you have to be patient and let the big dogs eat themselves.

No, it was sales that doomed it as well as EA would not join the xbox sports network, because MS was collecting data on its user and EA wanted that info on there servers. EA had no problem with producing the game xbox just like it had know problem Sony and Gameday.

Still sells well enough on the PlayStation and its been the best sports franchise with NBA 2K for about 5 years straight now.

Yeah if you are on any decent team that is close to winning it all, they almost always trade you.

These Show games have been absolutely great the past several years. I am a 2K Sports mark but Sony really does a great job with this series.
