Cali a different animal when it comes to car charging… Thing is folk using EVs for road trips and long distance travel and shyt when it suppose to be for city driving and short distances at its core and also for folk who have a home there they can charge the shyt up every night but you got dumb asses who live in apartment buildings driving EVs…

lot of dudes sitting at 98% on their phone in the car not realizing the charge is throttled, or maybe they do and dont give a fukk. then you got people that literally leave their car on the charge and dont check the app to see if its full or anything. as always humanity ruined another thing that was supposed to be convenient.

Get an electric car without paying $1500 to get a house charger installed. Get an electric car without using the app to tell you how busy the charging stations are and not having it plan your trip around the problem...

My wife thinks I'm joking, but she's gonna be mad when I come home with a Model 3 one day. I'm trying to hold off but I'm itching.

My cousin and his wife love road tripping. He bought himself a model 3 w/ home charging to save gas on road trips. Wife doesn’t trust that shyt. Had his Tesla for 2 years and never took it on a long distance trip because his wife won’t allow it.

My 2009 Accord took a shyt

And what's worse is the mechanic I took it to ended up almost going out of business. One mechanic left and he been holding my car hostage for several weeks now. Claims he has no help and he's way behind.. blew the timing SOHH the car doesn't run. If I try to take it back I will have a junk car. If I try to swell up on him, it would be like pissing off the people that make your food. I need him I fix my shyt and I have no leverage.

Was lent a Tesla in the meanwhile and it's looking like me and my fam can take over the payments and use it for everyday shyt like work and errands.

Don't have a home charger. Luckily the supercharger I use mostly is right off the highway on my way to work. Charge it up almost every day. To add 50 60 miles takes 15 20 min.

It's annoying in its way, but I need to stop at a store on the way to and fro anyway at times. And the store trip goes from 5 min, to 15 min while charging. Not terrible.

Today was the first time I had to wait in line for the charger. It was very polite and democratic. The Tesla drivers lined up and once one was finished, the next backed in. Luckily I was 2nd in line when I pulled up. Eventually I saw half a dozen cued up before I left.

Whole thing was maybe 25 min. Charged up. Got some beers and a turkey wrap and peeled out.

Been dealing with this timing chain problem for a few years now.

Got it "fixed" a couple years ago but the check engine light came back on and it was the same thing again.

Most shops can't deal with this issue from what I've learned. Apparently this shop is able, but shyt just went all the way south.
