I got a feeling that none of those useless, "live vicariously through these youngns," coaches taught that ball carrier how to run properly with the rock, especially when making contact with a defender. That kid was as straight as a skyscraper and none of his body language gave the indication that he knows he has to bend those hips & lower that shoulder when making contact.
And before anyone hits me with the "they're just kids," they're also in full pads, which means they need to understand early how to police & protect themselves between the lines.
When you see bad coaching leading to unnecessarily hurt players, you're employing a staff who has no idea what they're doing or their priorities are fukked up.
