An embarrassing video appears to show the moment a man’s marriage proposal at a minor league baseball game in Massachusetts goes horribly wrong — as his girlfriend publicly rejects him and runs away.

In the footage, the unnamed guy pops the question in front of a crowd of fans in a dugout at a Worcester Red Sox home game on Thursday, according to now-viral footage posted by the Instagram account What’s the Word Massachusetts.

The would-be romantic gesture prompted cheers at Polar Park — but instead of swooning, his stunned girlfriend put her hands over her mouth and shook her head “no.”

“I have to go,” she can be heard saying — before bolting up the stairs and leaving him alone on one knee.

Don't ask someone to marry you in public. It isn't right to put people on the spot like that, but more importantly it makes asking for a pre-nup more difficult.

Couldn't imagine doing some extra romantic shyt and then mar it by asking for a pre-nup. However if we sat down and discussed the merits of getting marriaged, the topic of things not working out would come up which would flow into a discussion on the appropriate pre-nup.
