So what could you have done to have a different outcome?
A lot. There's probably more to the story. The other guy may be wack, but OP has to learn to control his reactions.

So dude called him by name. Let it slide.

Leaving an accident scene is also something you're not supposed to do.

It's harder for black men, especially if they have records.... Which I'm assuming OP does cuz his first instinct was to bounce instead of making sure everything was secured, his coworker was okay, police/EMT were called..... Basically taking charge so that when his boss arrives his ass is covered by witnesses who will remember only that he took charge, not that he bounced.

So as some of you know, I been doing this locksmith shyt for a few months now and i love it. I love the freedom, using my hands to make some piff happen, the pay :blessed:. But today I had to work with this guy who is probably one of them lamest mfers I ever met in my life. He's a smart ass, he thinks he knows it all, and he thinks everyone is a dumbass. So anyways, I'm installing a safe and as we're moving it, he gets his finger caught between the safe and the wall and he lets out the most dramatic yell ever :beli: super exaggerating. But whatever, he's a "man" so I'm like "cmon lets keep moving this shyt" he throws a temper tantrum saying he's hurt and that I'm the reason he pinched his finger :martin:. And then he calls me out my name :dame:. So I tell him to watch his mouth. I may let you fakkits in the coli call me a fakkit, but that shyt ain't happening in the real world :upsetfavre:. He tells me he can call me whatever the fukk I want and he kinda came at me like he was gonna punch me cause he had his hands up so I naturally shoved the shyt out of him when he got near me. This faggit stumbles backwards and slams right into a glass door :snoop:

He fell right through it shattering the fukking thing. I can't lie, the sound scared the absolute shyt out of me. It was VERY LOUD. Women come rushing out of their offices and are all in shock. They had to call rescue to check his wounds and make sure he didn't have a concussion. Luckily he had no severe gashes or anything, cause I'm pretty sure I would of gone to jail. He calls my manager and later my manager calls me and tells me not to go anywhere :dame:. So of course, I bail. I get in my truck and I'm gone. I leave the truck at the shop and I get in my car and head home. While home, the manager calls me back to back and I just let it ring. I know I'm done so why pick up? He finally stops calling and he texts me to drop off my work shirts on Monday and they have to let me go :mjcry: I really liked that job too :mjcry: I'm so lucky i did all my Christmas shopping last week or I would of been fukkED. But anyways, that was my Friday. Now I'm back to square one. Gonna have to start trapping again and putting in applications :aicmon:

:francis:This the shyt I be talking bout. Folks always gotta "set people straight." fukk that, if he ain't got the means to change your life or end it, let
a mothafukka run his mouth. This goes for dudes talking shyt about my girl, spewing racist shyt, whatever. The moment I walk away, it ain't a problem
anymore so why do I risk a good thing over nothing?

:ufdup:Shoulda let that hoe carry on with his smack talk, and counted your bread on your days off. Within reason, money>>>>>>>>ego.
Wise words.

Send customers to the hospital, brehs.
He wasn't a customer. He was a co-worker who was too talkative, probably a nervous habit. The co-worker also sounds like they don't listen to anybody, anddont take responsibility.

Suck environment to be in. The time to bounce is with a new job lined up, not an accident scene that will be twisted against you

This is hilarious man....but I see the average locksmith salary is 45k+ in florida

In dade county that is a killing...

Stop fukking up OP and don't sign on with companies before you check glassdoor.com and linkedin at least see who you gonna be working with and try and network in your industry to find out who to stay away from

something's extremely fishy about this story. which one of y'all took the pic, why did you just bail on the job site even after your manager said to hang out if what you stated was all you did, why are you so calm about getting axed right before the holiday?

my take is, dude's a phony
