When you realize untrained muscle bound freaks have the balance of a 3 legged table :banderas:

The look on someone's face when they're trying their heart out to not get tapped, gasping and making weird sounds of struggle while you sit back like :smugdraper:

Eh eh it feels like you weren't even trying :mjcry:

Just some light sparring  Good hustle

Papercutter as i rest

I don't control the inside arm like this, but I might start :ehh:

Other favorite, knee on belly bravo choke

Or a Basic arm triangle if no gi.
I enjoy stamina draining techniques and positions

Good shyt breh:salute: I usually go for the arm triangle from side control too. Gonna try that papercutter joint never seen it before :ohhh:

How you feel about heel hooks, straight ankle locks, toe holds etc? I know a lot of jits cats don't really work leg attacks like that because if they fail you usually get in a bad spot.

Thanks for blessing me with some bjj knowledge I know you the forum go to for this stuff.

BJJ alone is over-hyped...Needs to be paired with Muay Thai or Boxing.

You can't catch me in an arm-bar if I rock your temple before you even blink....
Lol you gotta understand there's levels to bjj just like any other sport. Most bjj guys like myself and my 12 yr old(who's been training since he was 6) cross train there bjj with wrestling mostly freestyle or folk. Go head a swing and watch how quick they level change and put you on your ass. From there it's done cause you have zero idea how to fight off your back and your natural reaction will be to swing up out of desperation. That's when you get armbarred.

:mjlol:

A legit blue belt can handle a random request by a plebeian

A legit blue belt from the right school and association can handle smoke from 99% of untrained folk

Bless you :lawd:
I know personally 15yr old blue belts who tap black belts, the game has changed. My son when he turn 15 will have 10yrs of bjj training under his belt at a blue belt level. His may time is 5days a sparring and drilling along with strength(plyo/weights) due to him competing so much, all this since he was 6. He's 12 and gives teens that's 14,15,16,17 the blues cause he's also 115lbs solid. These "blue belts" aren't like they were when bjj was just on the come up.

I know right.:heh: The age of one dimensional fighters is over. I definitely prefer striking mt/tkd base but its impossible to deny the ground game and how effective it can be. Takes a different kind of conditioning too nikkas can swing all day but gas quick once they hit the ground and get claustrophobic and pressured they lose all will to fight.

Boxing is definitely my favorite combat sport but in my personal life mma all day nothing like it. My homeboy who is legit and got some wins on the ammy circuit can serve me in pure stand up (boxing) but if you allow kicks take downs and groundwork he don't even make it 5 minutes crazy how many levels it is to the shyt.:lupe:

Respect a fellow practitioner of the game:salute:

Yeah I love leg locks to be honest I've gotten hemmed up a few times though when I couldn't lock them in quick. Gave up my back quick:sadcam: still working out the bugs but with legwork a lot of old shyt becomes unsafe.

Gi or nogi?
