nikka we do have our own places.that's the real question. why DON'T we have our own places? Why are we trying to force ourselves into places that don't want us there and why should we make people that don't like us rich?

I'm not disagreeing with you. You're right but at the same time I've been in the restaurant/bar game for years. Them being rich and having a restaurant or club on the side for kicks in a major city allows them to freely be racist. Nine times out of ten if the place is a dream passion project that they toiled away at and put 12 hour days in for years -now they still could be racist on the low- but if you got money to spend they fukking with you cause they got rent and overhead to pay and they want that profit. That Arab that kicked the black couple out didn't have shyt to lose whatsoever even if they close the place down. He didn't even worry that his family's name would be tarnished from all the blowback. They probably had to talk him into issuing out an apology because all the employees that work there aren't rich and will be out of a job if the place ultimately closes down. I know those typesyou underestimate people's racism
there was a story posted a while back about some cac restaurant owner who proceeded to shyt on black people online along w/ his wifeI'm not disagreeing with you. Wait, wait. Wasnt Houston’s off Peachtree on the right going south off Collier? Or am I confusing that with Justins? It’s been awhile. I feel like they were right next to eachother.I used to work next to the one on Lenox Rd. It's the one T.I. shut down, I went to a couple of the protests. Houston's had some good ass food though.![]()

Yeah that happened in the Baltimore area. I said in my previous post that the regular restaurant owner still could be racist on the low. Dude didn't refuse service to black folks and they were pretty much his entire clientele. He got caught off of a racist Facebook post and his apology was bullshyt and rightfully so his business was done. But he didn't refuse service to black folks like the Arab did. They weren't rich but racist on the low and gleefully took black folks money.there was a story posted a while back about some cac restaurant owner who proceeded to shyt on black people online along w/ his wife
they served in a predominantly black neighborhood with mostly black customers
their business went to shyt and they shut down and one of the customers interrupted the cac's interview when he tried to give a bullshyt apology
that didn't stop their racist asses from destroying their business over night and I know they weren't rich or wealthy like that
it doesn't matter what these people have to lose or where they are in life racism runs supreme
people are willing to lose their wealth, property, business, etc. for racism
It was one there too and another on Lenox rd.Wait, wait. Wasnt Houston’s off Peachtree on the right going south off Collier? Or am I confusing that with Justins? It’s been awhile. I feel like they were right next to eachother.
