People need to run risk/reward assessments - is it worth hurting and potentially opening yourself up to civil/criminal charges over someone shoplifting from a corporation that doesn't give a fukk about you and would toss you to the bushes the moment the aforementioned charges happen?

Who’s more annoying? The people who guard stores like Fort Knox or the people that say that’ll be an additional charge for an extra sauce (with attitude or concern) like 25 cents in addition to the $20 you already spent is going to break you?

The people who get annoying and uppity about other folks literally doing their job. Nothing made me roll my eyes harder than working a retail job as a teenager and having some bird brain say “You really care about this lil job.”
