being the same price as the PS4 is not gonna stop the fact that it is a weaker console. It needs to be CHEAPER.

the word of mouth is too strong at this point.

people don't like having something that is considered weaker compared to the competition.

if they drop the price too fast, it will backfire as people will see it as desperation and/or more inferiority

Social media and the internet constantly pointing out the differences in power/resolution/framerate is another killer.

PS Plus > Live

all the advantages the Xbox brand had are gone this gen. I dunno what they can do. Sure they can release games and cats will definitely cop for a Halo 5 and Gears 4, but by the time those release, PS4 sales will at a minimum be double of the Xbox one sales. There is nothing they can do to pass the PS4 globally or even in the UK at this point. There's still slight hope here in the states, but it's just that, SLIGHT. TF didn't do it, so it's up to Halo 5 if it drops. Even then, I don't think it will be enough.

All MS needs to do is just make sure the platform will be profitable, and as long as they do that, it'll be a concellation win in that regards which is all you can ask for.

xbone average 400,000 a month, ps4 average a milly a month according to microsoft.

But seriously, its way over priced. Neither system has that "great game" yet (although, Infamous is very good, and Titanfall is very fun and very well balanced, but neither is a "must buy the system for" game) it shoulda came out at 400, then the kinect add on would be something. Instead people feel like they are paying an extra 100 for a kinect, which is cool, but not necessary for most gamers.

So, if they want a new system, they gonna get the cheaper one that plays most the same games

it's true in my store, but the sales all over is different, u the same nikkaz who say they never saw a ps4 in a store, I find that hard to believe, when every store hear has them
