lool nah London. £30K is decent, you could get 5% deposit for the first house as a first time buyer. If you do it with another person that's two houses with only 5% deposit, split evenly that's two £300K houses which depending on where you look could get you nice pads, or you split it and you get one in a really nice location for £400K - £500K and another one maybe even in North England where properties are cheaper.
