To my wife? :ld:...................I think marriage is nothing more than a piece of paper followed by a outdated ceremony. With that said, yes after being married to my wife for six years I would marry her again. Living itself is a series of compromises and adapting to circumstances. Marrying my wife didn't change my relationship with her, because "marriage" is just a title. It shouldn't dynamically change a relationship between two people who were already committed to each other.

:manny:

I can respect this.

@ the bolded, if women knew this, there would probably be less divorce in the country.

Ask any married person who's been shackled together for longer than 3 years, "Would you get married again." Chances are you'll get the same answer I've gotten.

First, they'll look off into the distance like :ld: for a few seconds. This is them imagining a life without constant obligations and compromises. After a few seconds of this, they'll compose themselves and look back at you and say, "Well... marriage is a lot of work."

That's the answer you're going to get. Marriage is a lot of work. So as long as you're cool with having a 2nd job, get married brehs.

This :heh:. Or they just say no lol

Sound Reasoning
Best believe there are stats to back that ish up. U can't find it right now but men are more likely to check out of a relationship if children get more attention than themselves. Regardless, of the reasons...I am not going to sit here and paint all men as selfish but men are not all martyrs. That's a fact.

Why would he stay if he's being treated like a sperm donor whose position is no longer needed instead of a husband whose still loved and respected by his wife? :ld:

Don't women leave men for "taking them for granted"? Why wouldn't a man do the same? :lupe:

Peace

There's a big difference between a sperm donor and a woman who is trying to raise children. Many men from what I've experienced and observed ate not hands on with raising children and have this twisted belief that once kids are involved they will still get the attention that they had before the children. They complain about the wife not giving them attention but make no effort in relieving the wife's burden. As a man your wife is not your mother she is your lover/partner/confidant.

I am all for living simply......

The wife sounds like a spoiled bytch who has never had to work for a damn thing her entire life... If you have a roof over your head, food in your belly, and a love by your side.... If that man said jump she should've pulled out her walker and asked how high.....

This man gave her a great lifestyle for the majority of her life and got her the best medical care in her time of need...you better follow him to the end of earth heifer....

Let @Midrash tell it though,, white women date for character and not income/worth

Lol, I always laugh when I hear black dudes say that whites/asians/etc...aren't as gold digging as black women.it's like what planet do you live on...women have always tried to to aecure men with resources regardless of culture, creed, etc...
I will say that black women who tend to gold dig are more impressed by demonstrations of wealth: expensive cars, etc...
However women of other races want more than that you have to have a position/connections/etc...especially with asians. Anyway, I think the husband should have consulted with his wife.
