any device that is always listening can be used for tracking. all these phones have assistants now where you say ok google or hello siri and they respond that means the mic is always on. what this also means is yes the potential is there to always listen in or record private conversations should someone with access on the back end choose to do that. smart tv's as well. any device that has an always on mic or software assistant built in can do the same thing. they all work under the same premise an always on mic responds to voice commands so it has to be listening and can be hacked.
