Good for you man, I been on that Dave Ramsey stuff since 2005 when one of my homies put me on to his total money make over book. Probably the best thing that could happen to me financially at that time. My debt situation was real light compared to the people in that book, I just had a brand new car for 25gs and about 5gs in credit card debt. I had a five year loan on the car and I paid off that and the credit cards in 2 years and I have been debt free ever since 07. So stay the course on your journey man because I know it's hard to fight the programming of buy buy buy spend spend spend but when your debt free there is no freedom like it man living in a capitalistic everybody is in debt society.
Live like no one else so you can live like no one else.
I ain't ever going back breh, I pay for everything with cash or debit card. Don't buy shyt unless I need to, once I pay off my student loan and got that 3-6 months expenses am saving up that 20% to drop down on house. After that kids college fund / my retirement
Funny thing is that now at this point in my life when I care the least about my credit is when it's at the highest
I stay trying to put people offline on to Dave but they don't wanna listen, yo if I had started this when I was 19

I can't get rid of my 26,000 dollars debt. It is frustrating for me to not be able to have a job that pay well enough to offset my debt.

That student loan debt is a motherfukker it blows my mind that you can get instant credit for 50,000 for school but can't get a 5000 loan to start a business
does it make sense to take to take out a personal loan to consolidate your debt? i am totally screwed by poor decision making. I need to seriously save that first thousand

It only makes sense if your going to save a significant amount of money in the long run by consolidation, if not just use the debt snowball

no that wont start until after i graduate and I may join the services to take advantage of the loan repayment. My debt stems from terrible spending habits and being a fukking idiot. i have credit card debt, hospital debt (400), unpaid bills (300), unpaid tuition (1600). i'm screwed because bad decision making. sometimes i just laugh at myself in wonder how i could have been so dumb and irresponsible.I feel like I'm drowning deeper and deeper. i need at least 1 other source of income to get out of this mess.
