This reminded me of a case here in Philly some yrs back. A girl witnessed a dude kill one of her friends and she later testified and helped put dude away for life. She was quickly put into the Witness Protection Program and moved to Jacksonville. About 6-7 yrs later, her grandmother passed away, and against countless warnings, she decided to come back to Philly for the service. Needless to say, she never had a chance to make her grandmothers wake because she got executed like a day after coming back. Her friend got killed with her as well. It was a pretty sad story.
When people really want to get someone out of here, they'll sit on it for however long it takes and immediately jump on the opportunity when it presents itself.
