Shut the fukk up. No one is saying that he shouldn't have received some sort of punishment but 12 years of PRISON followed by 8 years probation is excessive no matter how you slice it.

They don't say if this is his third strike or not if he is a habitual offender the judge is likely making an example out of him.
seeing the judges response, I think he didn't want to give him that harsh sentence, but his demeanor not give a fukk attitude kind of forced his hand

Only way I'd understand that type of sentence is if he had a prior record. A judge told me once that if I even steal a candy bar at 7-11 I was gonna go to state prison for 10 years. This was after being convicted for second degree burglary. This also was over 12 years ago when the prison population wasn't as crowded.

How the fukk is strong arm robbery twenty years? If i robbed someone right now with a gun i would get like 5 years assuming they couldn't recover the weapon. This nikka musta caught like 50 felonies in between the time he turned 18 and now for them to be able to sentence him like that. Thats crazy.
And why would he admit it? He has no hope for a normal life after spending his entire youth in jail. I know nikkas who shot nikkas and got less time than that. I know a dude who was convicted of manslaughter and got less time than thats. That is outrageous.
