I'm bored so here we go...
1) Unless youre watching a Hollywood movie, smoke doesn't come out of guns like that. for decades its been like this. the newer ammo/cartridges are designed to be 'smokeless'. though there's definitely some smoke.... It's very little and hardly noticeable.
2) we should hear the sound LONG before we see any smoke. So the timing is off.
3) the smoke is clearly edited in after. they didn't even try bothering to diffuse or blend it into the footage.
4) the smoke implies that the gun is close to the window or door. with all of the shadows in that area and the implied proximity we would have seen some sort of muzzle flash. especially from the size gun it would take to generate smoke like that from the standard cartridges which are mostly 'mokeless' (you'd need a cannon, basically lol)
I would have swapped out the smoke with easily downloadable video of debris (flying glass + buckshot, or wood + buckshot). I would have added a practical effect of shining a flashlight quickly out the door or window and timing it right to get my muzzle flash. And if we wanted to give off the effect of shooting through the door i would have swung that shyt opened and closed it really fast.
It was dope on the first play though.
