The PSA (blood test) can be highly unreliable. Black men have higher rates and more aggressive forms of prostate cancer. Know your family history and get checked out friends. A little embarrassment won’t kill you.

Ive had the prostate check done and it wasn't pleasant or arousing.

But I see people talking about how terrible cancer is and how the only reason nikkas are joking about it is because they've never seen what it does.

I've lost family and close friends to cancer, it is terrible at the same time I accept it as a part of life and not an evil entity. 1/4 of the entire world population dies of cancer.

I already have my plan if I get Cancer, if it's not diagnosed as terminal I'll attempt one round of chemo/treatment.

But if it's terminal or comes back a second time, hook me up the IV, pump me full of fentanyl or oxymorphone and let me die in peace. At that point I can accept that it's my time.

Yep. Lost my dad to resurgent prostrate cancer around this time last year.
Cancer breaks down resolve and fortitude the way few things in life can, and it's done with a brutality that will humble the biggest tough guy.

Your people from the islands right? From what i understand in the westwrn world black people werent even getting cancer like that until recent times (as in the last 50 or so years).

And cancer was damn near non existent on the continent until western goods started being imported and consumed heavy.

Its been the last several centuries, but cancer itself has greatly increased in population proportion, everything from genetic factors, diet, carcinogens, smoking and chewing tobacco, alcohol consumption, etc.

Its hard to tell because unless you dig up large, well-preserved sample sizes, you don't really know how many people had cancer, and what form it was, what symptoms it took on, etc.
