ill believe the quote about lamb and perry when i see them play. everyone wants to talk about perk and his contract. yea its not great value. but who else are you realistically gonna get? im not sure a rookie starting center is the answer. thabeet isnt either. someone on realgm mentioned ilasova from the bucks for perk and pj3. it looks good on paper. but starting serge at c for 82 games wont work. brooks needs to work on his lineups. play reggie and russ together more. get rid of fisher and let lamb play. stop with the small ball lineups. last year it was serge, kd, harden, russ and fisher. this year, serge, kd, martin, jackson and fisher. yet brooks swears by these small ball lineups. durant can score at the 4 just fine but defending that position, he isn't great. all he has is length. leave him at the 3 full time.
on Perk, Brooks basically confirmed he'll be both back(obviously with that contract) and starting next year. He says he likes some things he did this postseason.

I'd just like a lil more offense injected into Brooks' lineups. I didnt like how he tried to pass Martin off as lesser-Harden when he was actually better-Daequan Cook for us.

and Serge gotta keep it up throughout the year. He was playing very well in the beginning of the season. Really looking like he was deserving that contract...then the injury(chest contusion) happened and he missed some games. He was crazy inconsistent from that point forward. How he was then to what he was down the stretch and into the playoffs were different players. Hopefully he can get it together...but I dont know:sadcam:

Jeremy Lamb will never amount to anything
I guess we gotta hope otherwise:manny:

I liked him in college and I liked how he played with KD and Russ in limited minutes, so I'm a little biased but optimistic. At the least, I'm hoping for a guy that isnt gun shy on a team that is offensively limited outside of a few players.

Lamb and Reggie will be solid off the bench next year, possibly with Ligg playing the 3 off the bench as the roster stands now, PJIII definitely needs to polish his game this summer, but I think he can possibly contribute next year :obama:

Fish, Perk and Brooks, all of these dudes can disappear for all I care :birdman:

Interested to see who they select in the draft :yeshrug:

and Nick gave Lamb the vote of confidence too:to:
said just because he isnt playing now doesnt mean he cant play and people need to have more patience. Compared him to Reggie(in how they had basically a redshirt 1st year).

where did you see that? :laugh:
Perk's exit interview. A reporter asked Perk why he was sweating so much. He joked it may be because he just left his meeting with Presti. Reporter asked him what they talked about and Perk said he needed to be a man, etc. Perk actually had a good interview. So many amnesty questions:dead: I felt bad for him on that one. In one of the questions about him being amnestied he brought up Mark Cuban saying the Lakers should amnesty Kobe:laugh:

he said he didnt sleep after the game:to:

If they had waited till this summer THEN amnestied Perk, they would have been able to keep Ibaka and the Beardo right since they would have been able to match any offers for Beardo?
@Loose ???

Hard to eat a 18 million dollar contract then sign harden to a max for a small market team not really realistic tbh
