I also had a friend who did it when he was maybe like 19 or so. He told me he found some real gems out there that he either took or flipped. His whole crib was decked out with furniture and everything from finding random things.

In NYC garbage man gets bank, free healthcare, bomb ass pension and shyt.

Every time I see them come around I wonder if I should just get a glade scented gas mask and sign onto that shyt.

There is a wait list though. Half of it is mechanized all you have to do is collect trash. A whole nother crew handles it once it gets dumped off at the central deposit point and you can wash your hands of the situation after that (literally).:lolbron:

They work like 6am to 1pm. Early mornings but usually I don't think they gotta work weekends. Depends on the city but in NYC it is a coveted job.

I guess it depends if you work for a city or not. You get union benefits and the pay could be six figures with overtime. They also work less than six hours a day and most have second jobs because of that. I know some who work for a city in Westchester and they are usually finished before 10am.

It's a respectable job. Without garbage men it'd be shyt piled up all over the city. The stunting culture is what's making you feel self conscious. nikkas talking about being rappers and riding foreign. :beli:

Pretty sure you can get promoted and move up in company as well.

Make sure to wear heavy gloves and thick long sleeve shirts.

The only months out of the year you'll hate it is early July to mid September when it's hot and smelly as fukk.

And maybe mid-Feb to mid-March when it snow. But depend on the region you are in. If you are in a snowy or hot as fukk region I may not take the job. (Like Minnesota or Florida)
