you should contact equifax. 7 months is more than long enough for them to have the info updated. it would be strange (i'm not saying impossible) for the creditor to just report to one of them that you paid it off.

On credit karma it only shows 2 of the 3 credit bureaus.. how do I know about the third? They can have mistakes too.

Also since I paid off these collections I'm reading they will stay on my credit report for 7 years!! How can I get them off, I'm reading since I paid them off it doesn't matter, it's still dropping my score.

IF you have bad credit, you can't improve it by paying cash. You don't have credit. Get a secured loan. Basically, you give the bank the money to sit on and you make payments. In a year, you pay off the car and show a nice positive mark on your credit score.

If you have a credit card, use it for ALL of your bills, but pay off every month. If you're serious about buying a house in a year, what you boost your credit by will make up the difference in the interest rate they charge you.

And, pay ALL YOUR BILL IN FULL EVERY MONTH. Every time you pay late, remember that shyt stays on your credit score for 7 years.

yeah and the legit one.
Ya just did some HEAVY research on this stuff.

Breh I'm screwed cuz I have 3 collection that are paid that are being reported on the credit report, I've read that I cannot have them removed. My only shot is writing a good will to the collection agency and asking them to remove them.

This is why my credit is so low.
