I Work at a plant in Pasadena TX and Im like the only young black man here I not too long figured out I don't have a diploma and I think my supervisor know. I Been here about 4 years and he always been cool I worked my way up from checking trucks to a shift supervisor IM Not the type to lie like im balling or nothing but I make enough to take care of my mortgage and my 3 lil kids with my wife help of course.
But any way my boss man be punking me.He call to my office MR. Campbell Is there any coffee ready I said I Don't know I had my last cup two hours ago He said well go look and if there is bring me a cup u know how I like it ..I think to myself man he tripping he always bring Starbucks for us he make coffe and let me know whats up with him. I aint trip I thought he was just on one.So today he tell me I have some Italian food coming today sign for it and let me know when its here . Im like cool first time doing that shyt too so Im eating my spaghetti my wife cooked he tell me that aint my food you eating is it boy. shyt pissed me off brehs .

It seems like he knows you're soft and you're the type of person he can do that to.

He feels that he knows you.

Explain to him that you understand he's your supervisor, however,mutual respect is key to any work enviorment.

Allow him to call your boy was a big mistake.

At that point, you should have corrected him at the very least.

You're too friendly and joke too much around there. Probably don't look too intimidating either, voice all soft...like you got baby nuts....

I let any employer know I'm not too far from the streets. Covertly let them know that I'll always eat too, job or no job. I'm actually taking a pay cut working here.

I look supervisors and managers dead in their eyeballs and they know...without me saying a thing...I will hurt you.

When the opportunity presents itself I air it out that no one should ever do something to make me think it's personal and not business, because that's my cue to thug it out.

They see my associates and cousins swing by the job and they want no parts of them.

If anything I have to reassure my employers I won't kill them...
