wack ass kiddie cartoons/daytime shows in the am

playing the game when everybody at home

getting your parents to write a sick note

having to exaggerate the symptoms when they come home cuz you don’t want to seem like you playing hooky

the only bad thing about being sick as a kid is the school fukkery you missed. It kinda sucked to miss school once you were in middle school tbh

I liked school. Playing football or basketball everyday. Hanging out with my friends, not only the ones that lived on the same block and down the street but the ones that were too far for us to kick it outside of school.

Watching power Rangers or playing mortal combat, watching wwf then going to school next day like .

Then middle school and on fukking around with girls......


Home was cool, but not that cool. I probably only missed school 3 times if that. I can only think of 2. Once in elementary (threw up), and once in Jr high (was legit sick).

School was goat, but I liked hanging out with friends and doing shyt. Whether sports, art, gym, some of the classes were dope too.

Only sickness I caught as a kid was colds and sore throats


I usually toughed it out and went to school anyway


Plus I stayed home plenty of days I was perfectly fine, being absent from school and watching Maury & Jerry Springer


Not going outside until 2:30 or so cause you don't wanna get picked up by NYPD for truancy
